Today I listened to Krang not once but twice!

Get back to the ’90s, grab your skateboard, and start listening to Krang’s latest album; Listen To Krang Once.

A fun, fast-paced melodically bunch-a-fun punk rock album that will take you back to the late 90’s and early 00’s! Krang is a Czech punk rock band that started in 2014 and created their first E.P(2015); Okay USA! which started their career to become a little bit more known in late 2015 the first album was born called; Baddest Brain and after a bunch of tours and getting more famous by the minute we are now here!

Krang Once.

And this album takes you straight back to good ol’ days of punk rock of Millencolin/Bad Religion/Sum 41/Bowling For Soup/Whatever you liked back then! This band takes you there. With good reason, cause most of their songs are about fun things…remember fun guys? Nowadays a lot of things are brooding and depressing and these guys make sure to bring the happy to their sound. Of course, there are still more serious songs in the repertoire, but the general vibe of their sound is catchy, not too poppy, and packing a punch of energy.  A great vibe overall.

Songs like Cowabunga which is one of their singles. that talks about The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and what they loved about them, which is great in my humble opinion. While the resurgence of good happy punk rock songs is fun, they still sound fresh to their own sound and not a record on repeat which is great.

One of my favourites would have to be; Delorean as it has such a nice lead riff on it. The entire melody is very nice and the fast-paced drums work so well.

Alf is classic in the way of the sound that it sounds like Lagwagon might’ve written or Bad Religion or Mest. A lot of similarities but nothing wrong about it, they know their sound and they know it well!

By the way, give their new music video for the opening song; Brand New Leader a listen as well! This one has only been released a few days!!

I could tell you a bunch more songs that definitely kick ass, but I’m not going do that. You know why?!

These guys deserve some more love in terms of getting bigger and bigger, cause I want to know what they are going to do next.

So thanks guys for taking this 30 year old something back to his skateboarding days of joy and hot summer evenings. This beer goes out to you Krang, cheers!

Krang Once.
