Empowering audiences with their energetic performances, Lime Cordiale, the Australian rock band formed by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach in 2009, has been making waves in North America this past month with their latest album, 14 Steps To A Better You. Their sold-out show on March 29, 2024, at The Middle East was a testament to their impact on the music scene.

Windsor rocked the stage as the opening band! Their set ended with infectious energy, reminiscent of The Strokes. The audience was captivated and I felt inspired by the youthful enthusiasm of the crowd.

The band’s appearance on stage was met with rapturous applause and cheering from the audience, creating an electric atmosphere. Their second song had a distinct country and disco sound, while the opening song was a classic rock n roll track. The crowd was enthralled by the performance, dancing and singing along to the music. This was the band’s second visit to Boston, and the majority of their fans in attendance had seen them perform prior to this show. The show was also a sellout, indicating the band’s increasing popularity and the excitement surrounding their tour.

I was particularly impressed by one of their songs, which showcased alternating vocals, trombone, and a ska/reggae vibe. The band displayed great energy and audience engagement. Their diverse setlist included both old and new songs, which were well-known by the audience. The band demonstrated their versatility by playing a range of styles, underpinned by the raw power of rock n roll. I found their musicianship and stage presence to be outstanding.
